Happy NSD! New Freebie, a Great Sale, and a fun Challenge!

The big day is finally here! Everyone is already hitting the shops and forums. Our forum at Digital Candy is very very busy! So many deals to be found today and so much fun to be had as we all celebrate our favorite art form!

Don't forget that through the weekend everything in my Baubles-n-Scraps store at Digital Candy is on sale for 40% or more!!

I'm hosting a really fun challenge this weekend over at DC and I need a lot of participation to make it really successful! AND....there's a great prize!

Here's the deal: With the price of gas these days, let's just say many of us aren't traveling very far...right? Well, I love to travel and there are some pretty amazing places to go. So, your challenge is to choose the most amazing place to visit that exists within 100 miles of where you live. (100 miles should give you a lot of options!) Scrap your favorite place to visit within 100 miles of where you live and upload your layout to the NSD Challenge gallery. (Please link your layout in the gallery back to this thread.)

By the end of the weekend we should all feel like we've been on an extensive world-tour! Whoopie! Let's get traveling! There are a bunch of great prizes being offered for those who participate in these challenges. Check out the forum for more details. However, I have a special additional freebie for this one.... Everyone who participates in this challenge will receive a little freebie sampler of my newest kit. (Not released yet....although you may want to check out what is gushing out of my grab bag this weekend....hint, hint.)

Now for today's Freebie: (check back throughout the day and tomorrow because I'm feeling really generous this "holiday" weekend).

Thanks for the beautiful quick page. I am new to digital scrapbooking and checked out your store's quick pages and I am wondering how do you put your photos in the spots where some of the layout will be covered by the photo(like the freebie one with the metal flower partially covering the photo area)? Thanks for any help!
